It supports best practices under the Mental Capacity Act (2005). Developed by speech and language therapists Jodi Allen and Hayley Bryer, the prototype of this pack earned the Sigmund Sternberg Award for Clinical Innovation from the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists in 2011. Black Sheep Press collaborated to develop further and publish this comprehensive resource. This Supporting Adults pack is the result. It is intended for professionals who assist people with communication impairments in making their own decisions.
